One thing that was important to me as an artist was a healthy mix of mimicry and imagination. Sometimes, you KNOW what the character looks like and just want to place them in unique scenarios. I often draw my characters in one of the many ways I picture them, but to me, how a character looks is part of each readers' unique experience. How do YOU see them?
